New Chat Room Games Feature

Looking for something to do while waiting for a friend on Chatmetro? Why not fire up a game or two by clicking the joystick gaming button in the main chat room toolbar. We'll frequently add new games to the ones available. Have a Flash game you like that you don't see? Ask us to add it and we'll see what we can do!
New Avatars, What Do You Want?

Over the upcoming weeks we will be replacing the avatars currently available in the chat room with some funky new ones. What would you like to see? Objects, faces, assortment of stuff, what do you want? Let us know, we're working on figuring out all the new ones right now.
Chatmetro Population Hits First 360 Registered Users

We're totally stoked to announce the first 360 registered users here at Chatmetro. That's exciting because we've only had the doors open for a matter of weeks. Proving the whole Chatmetro Network concept works, and works well. Every day we're getting tons of new users, and lots of guests too! Let's see if we can double this number even more quickly and get this place totally rockin'.
So Who Exactly Is The Owner?

You may get all sorts of people claiming to be the owner of Chatmetro. But in fact only one user actually is. The “Chatmetro” user is the main man around town, so if you need help with anything he'll be glad to help in any way possible. As new moderators are brought onboard to help this poor over-worked guy get some relief (hint, hint we're looking for moderators) we will announce them here in Chatmetro News.

Did you know you can change the appearance of the text you type in the chat room? Change the size, color and font of text to make your conversations exactly the way you want them to appear. Also, sick of that ugly avatar we give you by default? Pick one that jives with your personality, there is a whole assortment of them in the chat room tool bar menu just below the conversation window!

Yup, don't let that squeaky clean and modern face fool you, we've made sure those time honored chat commands work. Just open the chat room help page for more instructions on what commands work and how to use them.
New Image Display Feature Released

Just added a new enhancement to the chat room that lets users share images with everyone in the chat room or in private with another user. Great for showing photos of yourself or pretty much whatever you want. You can find this feature in the chat room tool bar below the main conversation window.
